I wore my Sitka jacket out on a windy ridge all morning, it made a big difference. My old gear would’ve had me freezing, which now feels avoidable after using this. It blocked the wind really well and kept me warm without feeling bulky or annoying to move around in. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I ordered a jacket from Sitka Gear and realized quickly that I’d picked the wrong size. That one was on me, so I was already bracing myself for the usual return headache. I’m really happy with this jacket so far. Compared to my old one, it’s way quieter and doesn’t make that annoying swishing sound when I’m walking through the woods. It makes a real difference when I’m trying to move around without drawing attention, so it’s been a practical upgrade for me.

I’ve usually been loyal to another outdoor brand, so I was kind of skeptical switching it up, but the zippers on this jacket feel sturdy and not cheap or flimsy at all. The snaps and pulls feel well made too. My only small complaint is that one zipper gets a little stiff when it’s cold out, but it’s not bad enough to bother me much. Overall, I’m happy with the hardware quality, even if I’m still not fully ready to abandon my usual brand

I’ve worn this gear a few times now, and the odor control is okay, but not amazing. It helps enough for a day hunt, but once I start sweating a lot, the smell still comes through. For the price, I expected it to perform a bit better. Also, the way it was handled or packaged felt careless, which was frustrating right out of the gate

It definitely looked more worn than the description made it sound, which was a little disappointing. That said, it still works fine and I can use it, so it’s not a total loss.

The jacket and pants fit true to size for me. They’re not too tight, so I can still wear layers underneath without feeling restricted. Overall I’m happy with the set... definitely glad I went with my usual size.

Took my Sitka gear out on a wet, windy hunt last weekend it did way better than I expected. The rain was coming in sideways for a couple hours and I kept thinking, okay, this is where I start feeling soaked, but nope.

My base layers stayed dry the whole time, and I never got that cold, damp feeling that usually makes you want to pack it in early. The zippers and cuffs sealed up really well too, which I didn’t think much about at first, but then halfway through the storm I was like, yeah, that actually matters.

It’s definitely not cheap gear, but when the weather gets that nasty, I can’t really complain. Stayed dry, stayed comfortable, and it did what it was supposed to do. Easy 5 stars from me.

My first reaction was like, “Wait, that’s it?” It works fine and does what it’s supposed to, but for the price, I expected a little more. Not bad, just feels overpriced for what you actually get

i mean, I bought a Sitka jacket and pants last season and put them through a rough stretch. Wet brush, climbing over rocks, long pack-outs, the whole deal, and they never really showed any real signs of giving up.
The seams are still solid, the zippers still run smooth, and even after a few washes there’s no weird peeling or worn-out look. It’s definitely not cheap gear, but after using it like this, I feel like it was worth it.

I’m really happy with my order from sitkagear.com. The jacket is way lighter than I expected and packs down small enough that it barely takes up any space in my bag, which is annoying because now I have one less excuse to overpack. I’ve taken it on a couple early hikes and pretty much forgot it was there until I actually needed it. Shipping was totally fine too. Would definitely buy again.

I’ve had so many pants where the pockets feel useless, like I’m trapped constantly checking if my stuff is about to fall out. These actually sit right and keep everything in place, which is such a relief.

Picked up a jacket from sitkagear for those cold morning hunts, it’s been solid. It holds heat really well, and the wind doesn’t cut through it much at all. I do wish it had a bit more room for layering, because once you add that, it can feel a little snug. Still, it does the job and I’m happy with it overall. 4 stars from me.

This blended in really well in the timber. The deer didn’t notice me at all until I actually moved, which is pretty much the whole point, right?
